Paul continued to travel, and he continued to exemplify the example of never traveling alone as a key disciplemaking strategy. 

Sometimes, there is just so much to say.  Paul knew he might not get the chance to be with these people again, so he wanted to give them as much instruction as possible.  Remember, there were no Bibles in those days (the New Testament hadn't been written yet).  How much can you absorb?  Do you hunger after God's Word? What would you have done had you been listening to Paul, who may have taught for 12 hours?  Would you have stayed?

What is your goal in living the Christian life?  How well do you want to finish the race?  Paul says goodbye to the Ephesians as the Holy Spirit leads Him toward the finish line. 

When we get to Acts 21, we see Paul seemingly go against the Spirit, or does he?  Or was it a matter of the clash between how some visions were interpreted and what the Spirit actually meant?

In this section, we see ethnic tensions and how Paul went to great lengths to extend his witness to, by all means, win some.  Are willing to lay some things aside for the sake of pointing people to Christ?

Paul's commitment to the Gospel was now costing him everything.  He could have said, "But, Lord", but he didn't; he said, "Yes, Lord."  May we change our "buts" to "yesses!" as we follow Christ.

Paul was arrested and facing trial, but what did he do rather than simply offer a defense?  He doesn't shrink back or change his story; he shared what Jesus had done for him.  He shared his testimony.  Are you ready to share your testimony?

Do you live with the type of faith that could create an uproar?  Does your trust in Jesus sometimes inspire people or, at other times, make them uncomfortable?  Live with vibrant, virile, viral faith!
