In our Western world, we often provide teaching to people, but we don't necessarily truly train people, especially when it comes to Great Commission evangelism and disciplemaking.  Jesus had a different approach.  Let's learn what He did.

There is often more to sharing the Gospel than just the Truths of the Gospel.  The Gospel comes to bear on life in powerful ways - ways like we looked at yesterday.  Today, we go further into Jesus' model.

Last week we considered Jesus' outreach in a religious setting, now we turn our attention to the model of home outreach., which could even include hospitals in our day. 

If we want to stay clear on the mission and know the Father's will, a life of ongoing prayer is critical.

Jesus had demonstrated evangelism in the synagogue.  He had demonstrated home-based evangelism.  Today, he demonstrates open- air evangelism in the Market.  What lessons does He have in store?

Jesus ministered to business people, common people, religious people, irreligious people, marketplace people, and today, we see Him model ministry among the undesirables. 

After healing the undesirable, news about Jesus spread and people came from all over to hear him, especially the religious leaders.  The news was creating a movement.  How can we be part of creating a movement today?  How can we bring to Jesus?

Along the way, I have noted that, sometimes, the Lord still does miraculous works to draw people to Himself, like He did with the leper or the man on the mat. Today, we will look at a contemporary story where He worked in a similar way. Be inspired by His works. Ask Him to use you to reach someone today.
