We are called to produce something as followers of Jesus -- other followers.  When a follower is fully developed, they will be like their Teacher (Jesus) - Luke 6:40.  In this episode, we begin unpacking a handful of the most pressing qualities we need to help followers of Jesus develop.

We are told to make disciples.  "To make" something is a productive term, resulting in an outcome.  What is the "product" of disciples that we are told to make?  Let's consider 6 categories for development.

The 4 Hs - Head, Heart, Hands, and House of a disciple is what we are aiming to develop.  Today's episode developing the 4 Hs in the area of Love for and Trust in God.

We are unpacking a description of a discipled person.  Today, we are considering the 4Hs (Head, Heart, Hands, House) of a person who is learning to love other believers. 

As Christians, we are called to love others, both Christians and non-Christians.  Just how do we do that?  What does it look like to love a non-Christian?  Today, we consider those questions and more.

The present-day call of modern psychology is to discover who YOU are, to be true to YOURSELF, but the call of the Christian Life is quite opposite of that.  The call is that we become like Christ.  There is a definite tension between these positions, but the Scriptures are clear. 

Yesterday, we considered several passages of scripture in outlining this Category, today we considered the 4Hs for development in the life of a Disciple of Jesus.

Because of a fully devoted follower of Christ's love for and trust in God, they will also demonstrate a devotion to praying diligently.
