Every believer has at least 3 wonderful provisions from God - The Savior, Scriptures, the Holy Spirit.  Be assured. Be empowered. 

While I intended this broadcast to be about prayer, it took a different turn and we talked about care for our bodies and souls in consideration of 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

If you lead a person to Christ, there are key truths they need to know and key practices they need to implement.  As a disciplemaker, you need to help that new Jesus follower learn these things. Today, we talk about God's worthiness of being worshiped. 

What is a disciple?  What is disciplemaking?  What are the critical things a new disciple needs to know in their HEAD, believe in the HEART, and be able to do with the HANDS (skills) to thrive as a follower of Christ who will also be able to make other disciples?  Prayer and Praising is a part of the formula. 

We have the same request of Jesus as the disciples, "Lord, teach us to pray." This is day 2 of a conversation about prayer.

The Bible is THE most reliable book of all books ever written.  We want young believers to have confidence in God's Word.  We, ourselves, need to have confidence in God's Word.

There are rules for interpreting the Bible.  There is a right way and a wrong way. We want to help young disciples learn how to appropriately study the Bible so they interpret it correctly.

We can be controlled by the identity our life before Christ, or we can be controlled by God's truth for us about our new identity in Christ.  When we begin to contemplate God's truth about who we are in Christ, we can live like the New Creation He has meant us to be.
