Luke5 - Calling Disciples

Jesus had already done some things to convince people of just who He was.  Yet, He knew to meet people where they are to convince them where they needed convincing, so He could call them to greater followership.  He isn't just looking for Christians, He is looking for followers. Is there a difference between being a Christian and being a follower?  Should there be a difference?
